Termside 0.7.0

Termside 0.7.0 introduces multi-window workspaces, faster ways to work with files and agents, live project moves, and substantial terminal and window reliability improvements.

New

• Create multiple named workspaces, each in its own window with its own projects, terminal layouts, and sidebar state. Open workspaces are restored when Termside launches again.
• Move a project to another workspace from its context menu while its terminals and agents keep running.
• When a project already exists in the destination workspace, its open terminals, agents, and panes are merged with the sessions already there.
• Drag files and folders into a terminal to insert their shell-quoted paths.
• Choose the order of agent launchers in Settings. Your preferred order is used across project and scratch launchers, menus, and keyboard shortcuts.

Improved

• Live project moves preserve terminal contents, pane layouts, agent state, and running command presentation without requiring sessions to be closed or restarted.
• Projects and saved commands stay coordinated across workspaces, including clearer handling when a running command is open in another window.
• Keyboard shortcuts now follow the focused workspace more reliably and avoid activating while a dialog or sheet is open.
• Updated the terminal engine to libghostty 1.4.0.

Fixed

• Fixed workspace restoration sometimes reopening only one window or creating duplicate windows.
• Fixed Settings and standard app shortcuts being intercepted while a terminal had focus.
• Fixed commands, servers, watchers, and agent subprocesses sometimes continuing to run after their terminal was closed.
• zsh terminals now follow the native startup sequence, honor custom ZDOTDIR locations, and use your normal shell history file.
• Fixed window chrome and toolbar backgrounds rendering incorrectly when moving between terminals and project views.
• Sidebar expansion is now smoother across more window sizes and remembers each workspace window's settled sidebar width without overwriting it when the window becomes constrained.
