Termside 0.3.0
Released May 27, 2026
Termside 0.3.0 upgrades the terminal experience with Ghostty-backed rendering and improves terminal-backed AI agent reliability, session restoration, paste behavior, keyboard shortcuts, and completion notifications.
New
- Terminal sessions now use the Ghostty terminal renderer.
- Terminal font settings include a bold weight control for Ghostty-backed terminals.
Improved
- Terminal themes, font changes, and resize behavior now update through the Ghostty terminal configuration.
- Claude, OpenCode, and Codex agent sessions continue to launch from Termside's persistent terminal-backed session model.
- Restored terminal sessions now start lazily when opened, reducing launch-time resource usage.
- Restored sessions launch with the visible terminal size instead of an initial default size.
- Ghostty-backed terminal font settings now map more reliably to the embedded terminal renderer.
- Large pasted text is written to terminal sessions more reliably.
Fixed
- The Settings keyboard shortcut continues to work while a terminal has focus.
- Command-Q now quits Termside, including the existing quit confirmation when enabled.
- Command-N now opens a new Termside window while a terminal has focus.
- Pasting screenshots into AI agent prompts now reaches agents such as Claude and OpenCode so they can attach the image.
- Text paste behavior remains unchanged for shell and agent sessions.
- Fixed OpenCode mouse interactions in terminal sessions.
- Fixed restored Claude and agent sessions rendering incorrectly before the terminal size was known.
- Fixed agent completion notifications firing without a user-submitted action.
- Command and agent completion alerts now fire when the completed session is visible in Termside but Termside is not the active app.
- Visible sessions only suppress completion alerts while their Termside window is the active key window.
- Unread completion dots now clear when returning to Termside if the completed session is the focused terminal in the key window.
- Returning to Termside no longer clears unread dots for other sessions or panes that are not currently focused.
